I was charged for the same purchase three times because I clicked the submit order button multiple times because it didn't do anything. But because the order was not processed through I never received an email and order number but my bank sees the transaction. I have been waiting for a response from customer support for 2 hours now and I am looking at other options if this doesn't get resolved today.

Failed orders put holds on funds but don't actually bill you.
You did the right thing by contacting Customer Service. While they can't fix the problem in a couple of hours, they should be able to get the hold on your funds dropped much sooner than the week or so that it would take for the hold to be dropped automatically.
