Kineticist Two-Weapons

I am playing a 12 lvl Earth/Water kineticist at 5th mythic tier. I was considering using a blade I got as a second weapon. I looked and saw a back and forth if it can be used with a kinetic blade for two-weapon fighting feat. My dm won't allow the duelist feat from path of war so no 2 kinetic blades, but that got me thinking. When I get the double metakinetisis, misspelled I know, could I possibly do that? Also, I don't see a reason why couldn't use a light blade with the kinetic blade. I would just not be able to use gather power while wielding the blade.

I don’t see any issues with it… you already understand that you can’t use gather power while your hands are not free so there is no issue there… the only other thing that could be a concern is that Kinetic Blade ends when your turn ends… so keep in mind that unless you have a way to use your kinetic blast to make AoOs you will only be able to use your other weapon for AoOs while using Kinetic Blade… the Kinetic Whip infusion is a direct upgrade to Blade giving you some reach and persisting until the start of your next turn allowing it to be used for AoOs.
