for a while I had several games going on the boards....then I had the year of hell. This is no joke of exaggeration.
I got Covid in Dec of 21 took offline for about a month. Ended up in the hospital. then gradually recovered. ...My mother passed away in March. My Father passed away in June and lost my job because (not in that order). I had a car accident in August, totalling my car and going down to a one car family...also landing me in the hospital....again.
finally I got sick again in December of 22. and out of work for 3 weeks.
It seems that everytime Id start to recover from the body blows of the year...another would hit.
So I apologize for my inability to keep things posted or let others know what was going on. Lets just say my mind wasnt on the game.
So Apologies, Not sure if I will be dming or playing anytime soon, more just checking in

Thanks for letting folks know that (not to put too fine a point on it) you're still alive. We were in a Carrion Crown game together, and after the original GM died suddenly there's a certain amount of worry when people suddenly disappear from the boards. I hope things improve for you.

We were in a couple of games together = Falcon's Hollow, Reign of Winter (briefly) and Emerald Spire.
I am very sorry for your losses. Above all, I hope you are feeling better health wise, and that life is giving you a chance to get back on your feet GMMichael! That is what's most important.

Chapel, let's hope so. I'm absolutely certain I'm not the only one who went through trials and tribulations that sidelined them...as your story can attest. I'm glad to see you're still around as well then.
I think you were one of the GMs teaching me 2E back then. And thanks for that. If I take back up the mantel, either player of DM it'll be 2e. I've been learning more and it's time to embrace it.

We were sharing a Serpent's Skull game, you had a ranger there. I am relieved to know you are ok.

Well it continued. Just when I felt I might be able to return...the ugly word Divorce struck. My now ex-wife decided to move onto greener pastures and I went through the trial of getting my life back in order.
Moved to Texas and am out the other side with things looking up. So I'll be peeking in and may even try to join a game and God forbid run something.
