Bloom Question [Spoilers]

Kingmaker Second Edition

Bloom:
So the Bloom of Lamashtu states if you contract the curse from the bloom, there is no onset time. What exactly does that mean? If you miss the save, you die and burst into a creature immediately?

Is this how it works?

PF2 rule for "onset" - CRB 458

Some afflictions have onset times. For these afflictions, once you fail your initial save, you don’t gain the effects for the first stage of the affliction until the onset time has elapsed. If this entry is absent, you gain the effects for the first stage (or the second stage on a critical failure) immediately upon failing the initial saving throw.

So no onset time means they just start at stage 1 or 2 immediately instead of waiting for the onset time to pass.

Ok. Thanks for the clarification. That would have been brutal to fail your save and it's all over.
