Is there a dirth of 3rd party bestiaries?

I'm always interested in seeing new & creative monsters but I've been finding that there seems to be a relative lack of third party bestiary style books. The Battlezoo bestiary is a notable exception and I've found maybe a couple others, but compared to how many I've seen for pf1e & starfinder & d&d 5e, there seem to be very few for pf2e.

Is it simply a matter of, the system hasn't been out long enough for these types of books to proliferate? Is building 2e monsters more difficult than 1e & starfinder monsters? Are the books out there & I just haven't found them?

Making a monster in 2e is infinity times easier than in 1e, since they have actual design guidelines instead of being built like players.

Just off the top of my head: the NPC Index line, Mercenary Marketplace, Boosted Bestiary probably counts, Asian Monsters and the upcoming Ultimate Faeries by Legendary Games, the upcoming Botanical Bestiary, and there'll be a few in the upcoming Fantastic Monsters by Eldritch Osiris Games. There's plenty, and there will likely be many more as time goes on. Battlezoo will hopefully end up making more as well.

In 3.5/PF1, building monsters/NPCs is super complicated, requires a high degree of system mastery, and is easy to screw up. Hence, large demand for bestiaries made by professionals.

In PF2, building monsters/NPCs is far easier, hence the lower demand for bestiaries

However, I'm surprised that we haven't seen more pre-gen. Player Characters like we used to see from Legendary Games.

Same reason. Knocking together a level 1 PC is 3 minutes in Pathbuilder; a higher level one takes a bit longer but never nearly as long as in PF1, even with HeroLab.

Combined with the fact that the build and planning of your character 20 levels in advance aren't nearly as important, the demand for ready characters where somebody did all the hard work of researching the optimal way to develop the PC is much lower.

Fair point.
