Amped Tesseract Tunnel states: "When you cast tesseract tunnel, you simply create a tunnel that ends in a square within a range equal to your Speed".
Nothing states that you need line of sight to the square where the tunnel ends and the way it is written makes me think you actually don't need it.
That makes quite a good spell out of it. Which is greatly necessary considering how Unbound Step is bad...

Does the ability create an override or exception to the normal Spell Targeting rules that a spell needs line of sight to target and line of effect in order to cause an effect to happen at the target location?
Considering your previous stance on implied overrides of general rules regarding spell targeting...

I don't put a lot of faith in the first sentences of Paizo abilities, but I can't entirely discount them, either. Here it's "Physical movement is no longer necessary to connect two points in space."
I think that's the only benefit here, you don't have to move, but you still have LOS and LOE requirements.

Yes, I think you're right. It would have been too good to be true.

The non amped version doesn't need LOS and LOE between the 2 ends. And from the way it is written, you can't make a 2-way tunnel linked like the non amped version. Which is sad as it would be a super useful way of using it.

I think the difference with the unamped version might be that from the perspective of the spell the start, stride, and completion are all one, such that you have LOS and LOE to the end points at the relevant times, because you're right on top of it.
But it's certainly an unusual spell, and this would be a case where unamped you could go around a corner, while amped you can't.

Definitely. I wonder how it would work in a coordinated party that jumps from one portal to the other every round, forcing the enemies to move between both entries (as going through the portal will force them to Tumble Through if the adventurers stay on the other end). Or just if the party uses hit and run tactics through the portals.
Could be made even better if you add Haste 7 into the mix.
