Regarding Titan Mauler and large weapons

Rules Discussion

So, maybe i am reading too much on this, but i have a doubt.

"You can use a weapon built for a Large creature if you are Small or Medium (both normally and when raging). If you’re not Small or Medium, you can use a weapon built for a creature one size larger than you. You gain access to this larger weapon, which can be of any weapon type otherwise available at character creation. It has the normal Price and Bulk for a weapon of its size (page 295). When wielding such a weapon in combat, increase your additional damage from Rage from 2 to 6, but you have the clumsy 1 condition (page 618) because of the weapon’s unwieldy size. You can’t remove this clumsy condition or ignore its penalties by any means while wielding the weapon."

So this means the Barbarian gets access to one weapon built for a large creature, let's say a greataxe and with that weapon he gets the rage bonus.

Could for he instance after any number of levels, get another weapon built for a large creature like a greatsword or a gauntlet and also get the rage bonus?

Yes and yes.
You can find another large weapon and you get the bonus for any large weapon you find.

The point of the one large weapon at character creation is to guarantee you have access to an item that's key to your abilities, even if you're in a location where such weapons aren't commonly sold.

You are not, however, linked to this weapon in any way, and can still get the bonus from any weapon one size larger than what you'd typically use, as it doesn't say "when wielding this weapon" but rather "when wielding such a weapon"

Whether these are available to be purchased and what the price is is up to the GM, but I've yet to run into someone who limits access to large weapons for giant instinct barbarians. Worse I've come across is making them cost a bit more, but that quickly stops mattering as the main costs associated with a weapon are its runes.

Yeah I think it's really there to extra-guarantee access. You shouldn't go extrapolating a limit on large-weapon-buying from it that isn't actually in the rules.

Items are common unless otherwise specified. The rules for large weapons tell us about price and bulk increases, but not that they're uncommon.

It's just, that if you happened to be in a campaign in tinyville where the GM rules such weapons make sense to be uncommon, but also allows you to play a giant instinct barbarian, that you're guanranteed to be able to get at least the one minimum required big item to make it work.

Thank you all for your help, i am the GM in a Adventure Path where i have a Giant Instinct Barbarian and just wanted to have a doubt cleared, he will get a new toy ;)
