It seems to me that this can keep you hidden in plain sight for up to 2 rounds. Is that the right interpretation?

At least 2 rounds. The rest of that round and all of your next. Plus any more rounds that would be appropriate. But only if you critically succeed at the diversion.

Also the Create a Diversion rules for becoming not hidden for other reasons - such as attacking someone or running instead of sneaking - still apply.

That's what I figured. Just seems strange when an enemy can run right up to you In the middle of an open field and still require a flat check to target you. I guess they're just that distracted.


I'm building a pistolero and deciding on skill feats. Seems like a pretty good one with their slingers reload. This and confabulator.


Yup. You can't see what you aren't looking at.
