Could we please, for the love of all that's Holy please get this fixed? It's happened to me 3 times today, either reporting scenarios, looking at my character's sessions, or most egregiously, after 10 minutes writing a long and thoughtful review for a scenario.

It's broken, and makes me want to quit Pathfinder all together.

If I'm forced to use your website, please don't make me hate my life.

I don't know if this can help you at all but ... at least with Firefox I've found when this happens to me (and it DOES happen often) that I am able to use the <- Navigation Button to go back to the form or page I was filling out and there that data is saved still and then just submit it again.

Seems stupid of me to ask if you'd tried this already but I figure maybe it can save you some headache until some prodigy out there manages to recreate and fix the website and store so it can just work every time it's needed.

Yeah. I go back to the form or whatever, and it's all blanked out and I have to start from scratch.

On Chrome, I've been getting this error whenever I try to send a PM, any time I leave a review, or if I try to edit a forum post I just made.

Because they are unlikely to fix this anytime soon, I found a few things that help cause this effect. By reducing these activities, I find it happens less often (but still not never).

- Having more than one tab with Paizo boards seems to trigger this more often.
- Editing/posting in the same post (like editing a character sheet repeatedly for example) triggers this like mad.
- Re-submitting once you get the failure, increases the chances of a repeat failure. The solution is to cut and paste the url, open a new tab or browser window, and create a new connection to the server which seems to give you a fresh slate. Then copy your data over and submit.

This isn't much help I know, and I cut-and-paste every post I make on these boards as a result of this and other failures. There are also browser add-ons that capture your form data before it's submitted so if there's a failure you don't have to retype everything. Sorry, I don't use 'em so I can't remember the name of any in particular.

In short, do not trust the forums. Approach with caution and have backup systems in place because you will need them.

I highly recommend the Typio Form Recovery extension as insurance against this sort of problem.
