Humanoid hunter

Advice

I noticed that favored enemy and bane no longer let you select any humanoids as your favored prey.

What options are there for a character that wants to specialize in exclusively hunting humanoid foes?

Liberty's Edge

I would go Dwarf (or Adopted Ancestry : Dwarf) for the Vengeful Hatred feat. And max Society for RK checks, likely with a Mastermind Rogue with Investigator dedication for the Known Weaknesses feat.

Dandy archetype is nice to get Expert in Society at lvl 2.

Alchemist dedication with Revivifying Mutagen feat to get the most out of Cognitive Mutagen, Wizard dedication to cast scrolls of Pocket Library, might be of interest too.

I'd definitely go with society and Deception, for either social interaction and recall knowledge.

An outwit ranger with traps and eventually the investigator dedication ( more skills and investigation stuff rather than survival ) would imo be pretty nice.

Bane is especially odd as not only did they not provide a Humanoid option, they go out of their way to ban GMs from homebrewing it, which is a bizarre bit of text. Especially as something like dragon bane can be just as problematic as Humanoid bane (they are fully sapient beings after all)

Not "humanoid", but humans...

Strix Defender.
Mixing with the options above...
Strix, rogue mastermind, ranger dedication to get Monster Hunter
