Detect Alignment Duration?

Anyone have any idea how long the Detect Alignment spell lasts? It just says it has a 30 ft emanation range, no duration listed and permanent sounds a smidge too long.

With no duration, it would be only when you cast it. So its like how Detect Magic works now.

Alright, so at 2nd level, it's generally just long enough to receive the alignment information at the time of casting of everything within that range then?
