One issue I have with this class, isn't so much a problem with the class but with other parts of the system and that is scrolls and talismans coming in a defined form. When I have a particular concept in mind for a character, I don't want to always have to have piles of rolls of thin parchment and random mismatched trinkets on my person. I would like to have the explicit permission and encouragement to customize the form these items come in while keeping every bit of their core mechanics. Otherwise, I just feel turned off by the large chunk of class feats relating to these items. Same goes for implements. I know it's minor but it would mean a lot to me. I'm hoping I'm not the only one who feels this way.

I feel like PF2 is going out of its way to make flavor more specific, not less. And this class in particular kind of needs the specific flavor to justify it's existence, as there's otherwise not much separating it from the ranger or investigator.
But the good news is you can always reflavor things. That doesn't need to be built into the rules.

UGH!....but...but...BUT!.....Ok.....
Hopefully, I can force myself to permanently get past it.

This is the kind of request that should be simple to address to your GM instead of in playtest class feedback. If it's that important to you being able to enjoy the game, and isn't providing some advantage, it shouldn't be a very difficult thing to ask.

As far as I can tell, the rules only really specify that scrolls are of light bulk and can be held in one hand. If you want them to be a rock with a glyph carved into them or a child's femur scrimshawed with occult runes or a cube that when you touch it fills your mind with knowledge of a spell and it's power and then rips that knowledge away a moment later after you cast it, there isn't anything in the rules saying you can't do that.

Yeah, I'll pretty much be doing this.
Plus, I realized that the scrolls from Scroll Esoterica can interact with Striker's Scroll from the Magus Archetype and that would be a terrible thing to take away, so I retract everything I said.
