Where do you feel Barzillai's soul would be found? What would be most fitting?

The opera house where he made his first appearance has nice symmetry with the opening of the campaign. Otherwise the Temple of Asmodeous where he made his final stand in life could work.
If you want to get into the weeds, you could look at his specific traumas and phobias in book six and think of a place that he would be drawn to in a metaphysical way. (I'd offer suggestions but my group managed to skip most of them so I don't recall what they even are.)
Though, in all of Ravounel...The basement of Vyre's prison/Norgorber Cult so the Party has to fight twice as many people to get there is a particularly jerk move.

The Temple of Asmodeus is a perfect red herring locale. Barzillai only barely worshipped Asmodeus and keen PCs will note this.
I love the idea of the Opera House and the symmetry that Kasoh mentioned.
Bonus Points for forcing his soul to manifest by playing the Song of Silver.
Extra Bonus Points if you create a way in which the PCs need to concentrate and play the song over a number of consecutive rounds in order to fully force the soul to manifest.
Double Extra Bonus Points if he is able to affect the PCs fully during those rounds.
Good Luck!
