Post amazing in-game moments and stories that would not have been possible without Secrets of Magic.
I'll start:
My hag sorcerer, Hama, surreptitiously cast impending doom followed by inevitable disaster on a known spy and saboteur she caught up with in a tavern.
Events then began to unfold in eerily similar fashion to the breakfast scene from the sci-fi film, Alien (click here for the kid friendly version), as the spy crit failed both saves.
Round 1: The spy clenches EVERYTHING in shock as the mental vision of his impending doom slams into him like a charging gorgon, causing him to break out into a cold sweat and shatter the drink in his hand, shocking nearby patrons.
Round 2: The man collapses from his seat, viciously kicking it away while crying "No! Oh no! NO!!!" as the patrons look on in horror. Some back away slowly while others cautiously approach asking "Are you okay, man?"
Round 3: As another patron places their hand on his shoulder, causing the victim to break out in a shrill screech before going completely catatonic.
Round 4: Covered head to toe in perspiration and tears the spy finally seems to recover from the ordeal.
"Hey man. You're freaking everyone the hell out. What's wrong? Are you okay?"
"Yes. Yes. Yes, I think I am. Thank y--"The spy stands up, stepping on a bit of broken glass from his own drink. The shock interrupts his thanks as he staggers forward in pain, loses his balance, and starts to fall forward. Attempting to catch himself on the the nearby good Samaritan, he instead gets spun around and falls backwards...right onto the broken leg of his own upturned chair...
I absolutely love every part of this book.

Oh WOW. I'd seen Impending Doom, but Inevitable Disaster is just amazing. And that's some solid damage on it. I love this book's new spells.
Yeah. It's perfect for "make it look like an accident" assassinations.

How do you "surreptitiously cast" ?
Conceal Spell and Silent Spell from the Wizard multiclass archetype.
