The DC depends on the adventure. Either they are written in the GM description or the GM has to come up with a reasonable DC.
The bashing charge gives you 2 main benefits:
A) 3 actions for the cost of two (stride, force open, stride)
B) a plus 1 bonus
The main value is a). If you are not next to a door you would need to stride / open / stride and turn over.
Here you bash through and still swing a weapon at an enemy in the next room. That more or less allows first attack on someone in the next room.
A lot of doors have no DC at all. You would just storm through these. The +1 bonus on the other hand is not that much to ensure you get through.
Also - have a look at the discussion about crowbars. Does the -2 for no crowbar apply (assuming you bash through with a two handed weapon in hand)? Check with your GM how he handles that.
