Act at a distance

Advice

Hello, is it possible to act at a distance ?

For example, scrying a party and cast spells at a distance.

Thanks for your future answer.

There are some specific ways to do this, like a Familiar Power, or an Illusion spell you can send spells through. But it is not the default option, and to my knowledge no way to do it though scrying. Pathfinder uses a lot of "line of origin" rules.

There are some spells that just have planetary range though, like Telepathic Suggestion.

Even things like Familiar Conduit generally wouldn't support casting from the safety of your home, because of having their own requirement for range and/or line of effect to the origin of your spell.

Agree with the above.

But if you are a player and the GM does something like this to you, be aware that it may be a plot device rather than a player-available game mechanic.
