Skald, Increased Inspiration Level and Master performer

Rules Questions

First:
I sort of doubt this but with items like three reasons to live and dervish sikke increasing inspiration Levels, would those also effect Rage powers sense they are a part of the inspire rage ability or would it be treated as a separate ability?

Second:
With how master and grand master performer are worded, would those effect rage powers that you grant other people via inspire rage

Quote:
A raging song counts as the bard’s bardic performance special ability for any effect that affects bardic performances.

1) It depends on the specific item description.

three reasons to live wrote:

If a bard uses the horn to start a bardic performance, all effects of that performance are calculated as if the bard were 6 levels higher. This doesn’t grant the bard access to new bardic performances; it only enhances those to which the bard already has access.

It affects any bardic performance.

dervish sikke wrote:

In addition, the bonuses granted by a bard’s inspire courage and inspire competence class features are increased by 1.

It affects only inspire courage and inspire competence.

2) Correct.

well thank you for the second half, but for the first question I was more so asking about the following line.

rage Powers wrote:
When starting an inspired rage, the skald chooses which rage powers (if any) to add to the song, and all affected allies gain the benefit of these rage powers, using the skald’s level as their effective barbarian level

I'm asking if the level used is the actual skald level or if it would be the modified level in tandem with the items.

Example: A lv7 skald using three reasons to live, would his barbarian level be 13 as the rage powers are used by activating inspire rage, or would it still be a lv 7 barbarian for the purposes of the rage power

Separate ability in my opinion.

Master Performer wrote:

These items only affect your Bardic Performance. Rage Powers, although granted when you start your Inspired Rage, are not Bardic Performances.

From what I have read, the Skald has no power that allows him to count as a bard. If the item only affects bard levels, it doesn't add to the skald levels.

Three reasons to live affects the performance, not bard levels, so it should fall under "A raging song counts as the bard’s bardic performance special ability for any effect that affects bardic performances."

I haven't enough experience with skalds to be 100% sure of my interpretation, but it seems to follow the rules.
