All,

I wanted to give an update on the status of this project.

For starters, this started small and now has grown into a rather amazing endeavor of mine that I hope will make some people's tables really awesome.

For starters, Fabled Familiars will be released in 3 separate volumes now with a "Full Edition" at the end. The main reason for this is to allow people to start using the content that's completed in advance with full art, layout, edits, and otherwise what I hope to be a crisp completion.

I have since revoked access to the document to most users outside of specific individuals that provided a great deal of feedback.

What's coming

BOY HOWDY

I am lucky enough to have not only found an incredible artist who has a brilliant approach to the visual narrative of the document, but I have nabbed myself some pretty impressive writing and editing talent to help collaborate on the project.

I will likely reveal more about who is involved in the near future, but I'll just say I think the names will excite you (let's just say they are familiar with familiars).

If you liked these rules and this supplement before, I can assure you that you will be over the moon about what's to come. Not only have most of these ideas been enhanced, sharpened, or otherwise improved since my last update, new chapters are coming as well in each volume.

The plan is to have 4 chapters per volume at least, each with its own cover. The "Deluxe" version will contain all of the original covers, a new cover, and of course all of the content across all 3 volumes.

Potential for VTT

I am looking into compatibility with Foundry and might consider reaching out to Redrazors (Pathbuilder2e) should this supplement get enough support that I could compensate or convince them to include it in the app like other awesome supplements.

Til next time, thank you all for the support! Without support, this supplement would never have made it this far.

Volume 1 is targetting a June release date! I'll be sure to update in the future.

Happy Gaming!

I'd love to see this on Pathbuilder, let me know if there's some way I can chip in or garner interest on Redrazors end!

I actually just spoke to him about it, and the cost isn't the factor it would seem.

He is limiting himself currently to only 3PP who have physical books, and currently Pathfinder Infinite does not support physical books being released.

He did say that he was looking for a way to include wider 3PP from Pathfinder Infinite, but we'll have to see if there's something like that available by June.

I suppose if enough people reached out to him about supporting the product, he'd probably consider it, but I wouldn't recommend badgering his inbox with the request! LOL

That said, I can say for certain that this book is designed with Print in mind. So perhaps if we all yell at Paizo enough to allow Print versions of supplements on Pathfinder Infinite, I can reach back out to Redrazors.

I know that I would buy Kitsune of Golarion in a print copy in a heartbeat so I would hope that someday Pathfinder Infinite products can get the same treatment as the other supplements on Drivethrurpg.

I certainly don't envy Redrazors' workload and likely soon to explode number of petitions, so I can understand his thought process. As for me, I'd also like to have a physical copy of Fabled Familiars, so maybe that is something I can help beat the drum for on PF Infinite, or elsewhere.

For those of you looking for a chance to playtest some of the rules from Vol 1, Joshua Hennington (one of the awesome authors working on this project with me) is hosting some tables at PaizoCon testing out some of the rules!

I highly recommend to anyone that's going to PaizoCon to give it a try!

For more details here you go

I will be announcing more authors later and I hope to preview some of the killer art here soon.

Til next time, Happy gaming!

I've forgotten where Fabled Familiars is at. I was going to reference it in a reddit thread, but I couldn't find it on Infinite or elsewhere. Any updates?

The sad truth is that given the changes in remaster, my attention to Team+, and ongoing project complications, I'm not sure the project will release as it was designed before.

I do however plan to use some of the content (at least my own work) at the very least for future projects. Particularly Relationships can probably be expected in the Witches+ remaster.

I'll never say never I suppose, but given this project was before Team+ exploded, I'm not sure when I can find time for it (I also have a daughter now, and she's got my attention a lot these days).

I may just get Shawn to finish up layout and put out what I have, but I'll never recoup the financial or time investment I put into it that's for sure lol

Thanks for the update! I was so sure it had already been published, but I must have gotten confused with something else. I hope I can see those ideas published in one place or another because I liked them a whole lot!
