PF1, PFS, AP credit question

Liberty's Edge

We have played through or are approaching the finish of 3 AP's in my home groups. Carrion Crown, Emerald Spire, and Iron God's. Just starting Rise of the Rune Lords.

As I understand it, if you have played through the AP, you can get the chronicle sheets and apply them to a PFS character. However, the question comes in that no one but me in any of those groups has ever played in PFS and they have no desire to start at this time. I don't think several of them even have a Paizo account. So the GM has no real incentive to figure out the PFS reporting to get me the chronicle sheets.

Can I somehow report the AP completions for them so I can get the chronicle sheets?

You could offer to do the leg work for the GM. You can pull some PFS Numbers for the GM and other players, print chronicles and report it yourself. Just have the GM initial the paper chronicles where it is needed.

I know it is not the most ideal way, but it should work in a pinch.

Also, if for some reason they eventually want to get into PFS, they have numbers.

This isn't required anymore.

Just their Org Play #.

It doesn't even need to be paper.

Technically the other players don't need numbers. You can just report it using the GM's number, your number, and "999" for the other players numbers. (Or just not report the other players at all.)

Are you sure about that? The question was for PFS1, unless they've edited the guide it still says GMs need to sign PFS1 chronicles.

Player names and GM signatures were removed for all programs due to privacy concerns.

Unfortunately it happened after the last PFS1 guide was finalized.

So I can report with his number? I didn't know that. Cool, thanks.

Yes, you will need to create an event to report it at.

Basically, you are taking on the role of "event coordinator" for those games.

Although one doesn't actually need another's consent to assign them a PFS number, the ethics of doing so should actually be considered a little more carefully - especially if the assignee is the GM and may have to field questions about the reporting in the future.

Absolutely agree. I will get his permission before I do anything.

So basically, I pull an unused number like the little cards the VL's used to bring to the game sessions. (I will have to look up how to get those. I did it once, but that was years ago.) Then I report the AP using their new number as the GM and mine as a player.

Is there anything special I have to do to report an AP instead of single scenario?

I can do that. Thanks everyone!

My Account -> Organized Play -> GM/Event Coordinator -> Reserve Ten (More) Organized Play Cards
