So this is something I'm definitely asking at next Paizcon or such other AMA again xD
Did Kishalee have democratic government or some sort of military junta? Were they jingoistic/militaristic/imperialistic overall or more "regular typical government with some branches of government having that bend"? Did they systematically exterminate Sivvs, or was Sivvs' extinction result of combination of their government/society/economy collapsing and their slaves rebelling? Did Kishalee conquer or integrate other species into their society? What are implications of their brand of technomagical hybrid technology dealing with dimensions?
I have so much to ask about them x'D
I haven't looked into it, but the Devastation Ark AP does feature the sivv... perhaps there's some more insight on their ancient foes as well, but from the sivv's point of view.
The kishalee do make an appearance of sorts in DA. But the insight is pretty shallow; you're seeing them filtered through sivv propaganda.
From my generic impressions without any real data to back them up...
I get the impression of a lot of broad government spending without taxpayer input. They probably were more of an oligarchy than a democracy. With a powerful centralized authority, and a wide ranging empire mostly working with that centralized government.
Sort of a... civilians had more input to the government after the sivv war, but during wartime they quickly adapted to fully supporting the military.
A lot of nationalism, not so much authoritarianism. Hard to distinguish of course, but that's my impression.
