Force Soles in zero g

If you start to move with force soles in zero g do you stop at the end of your movement or continue to be propelled in the direction you started moving in at the end of your movement?

I would think that the force soles would hold you in place, not unlike being able to stand in air.

The generate magical planes of force at your feet. I assume like advertised on the product, that it allows you to walk normally under any conditions.

Edit: To clarify I am referring to Mk 2 Force Soles.

For Mk1 Force Soles you would probably start to float in the direction you were last moving....but it's weird because (IIRC) you don't move when your turn is over but when your turn starts back up you can move normally because force soles mk1 only cause you to fall at the end of your turn...
