Named Bullet Throwing Scimitar

Rules Questions

My eldritch knight got a throwing/returning scimitar. Now it has a range increment and can be thrown is it treated as a thrown weapon when I throw it and can I use named bullet when throwing it?

Yes. Named bullet works on thrown weapons (for one attack), your throwing scimitar qualifies. Though named bullet is not at its best on a x2 crit weapon, certainly.

That is great thanks.

Do you know if I can add the transformative property to a weapon that has already been made so i can turn the scimitar into something better like a heavy pick?

Yes you can add properties to a magic weapon later - assuming you have craft magic arms & armor and can manage a DC 15 spellcraft check, DC 20 if you don't have major creation, and have 5 000 gp of materials and a forge handy.

That is even better thank you for the help

Keep in mind if you want to go Scimitar to Heavy Pick, you need Greater Transformative, not just regular.

I think you've got the weapon sizes mixed up. Light pick = light weapon, heavy pick = one handed, pickaxe = two handed. Regular transformative works just fine to turn a scimitar into a heavy pick.

Nope. I was misremembering an artifact from one of the AP's that's just a transformative weapon but doesn't let you change off of Slashing weapons.
