Breath of the Dragon question

Rules Discussion

I have a kobold Dragon Disciple and will be taking the Breath of the Dragon feat. The character gains the Dragon Breath sorcerer bloodline spell and a focus pool of 1 Focus Point. The spell does 5d6 but increased if heightened (+1) so the damage increases by 2d6.

If my character gets access to this as a focus spell, is it able to be heightened to scale with the character as he levels? If so, how does that work? Or is it stuck at 5d6 damage at the cost of a focus point?

all focus spells and cantrips are automatically heightened.

So your breath of the dragon power will increase every odd level.

Focus spells are automatically heightened to half your level rounded up, just like cantrips are.

As already stated, it scales. However, without an alternative means, you will remain at trained proficiency.

Thanks everyone.
