To be honest, I didn't think there was any language giving you free spells for the Multiclass Wizard and Witch, but now that I look at the Archives Of Nethys, Basic Wizard Spellcasting says:
"You gain the basic spellcasting benefits. Each time you gain a spell slot of a new level from the wizard archetype, add two common spells of that level to your spellbook."
So I guess you do get free spells.
I wonder if this was changed in the errata or something? Or if my memory is just failing...
Edit: Just bad memory. Just checked my old paper core book and it says you get the spells.

How is AoN confusing? Just look under Archetypes, which is in the list on the left of every page, then click Wizard which is at the top under Multiclass Archetypes. Or you can search "Basic Wizard Spellcasting" to get a direct link to the page. The Archetype page is here.

I was looking at this page, which mentions repertoires, but not spellbooks or familiars.

That's because it's not a feature of the basic benefits, but of the wizard archetype itself (since spellbooks aren't common to all spellcasters).

Yep the generic section and not the wizard specific section: IMO, it doesn't seem odd that spellbooks/familiars where left to the individual entries as they are a subset of a subset of spellcasting [prepared casters that require reference materials] and individual types get differencing amounts [bard/oracle 1/new slot, wizaed/witch 2/new slot, cleric/druid all known].
