Rise of the runelords quest rewards

i have been running ROTRL for a few months now and my pcs just reached 7th level. one of my players and I have recently discovered that if u just use the loot and treasure from whats written, the pcs wealth is about 10k behind what the character advancement table says it should be. I'm a relatively new dm so i could be doing something wrong.

we went through and calculated the cost of everyones loot and added up whatever treasure they had gotten. added the party fund and tallied up the loot list and still came up short

Ya might try to post in the Rise of the Runelords section of the board to get some more specific answers but couldn't ya just "credit" the remainder of what's not adding up in gp to your players?

Wealth is a GUIDELINE not a RULE.

they'll get more stuff when they adventure more. Don't give them freebies. The wealth will work itself out

There is a disturbing number of artifacts available to PCs later in the campaign too. (Disturbing, but fun!)
