Pathfinder Battles: Darklands Rising case received with 15% of figures damaged

Customer Service

I just received Order 36347192, one case (16 boosters) of Darklands Rising figures. While it is to be expected that one or two figures may be warped or damaged in a group this size, more than half of the boosters in this case had damaged figures - mostly broken entirely off of bases. These are snapped stems as well, not just unglued pegs that could be reseated and glued back together securely. Included is a list of the damaged figures, along with a link to photos showing the damage.

Is there any way to get intact figures shipped to replace the damaged items? This case was over 500 dollars even with the subscription discount, and while the additional Huge figures are great, it seems the quality control dropped off significantly compared to prior shipments. Thanks for looking into this -

3x Leng Spiders (all bases broken off, one with leg snapped off)
2x Skavelings (base broken off at the stem)
1x Leucrotta (all four legs snapped off at base, including one leg broken mid-foot)
1x Drow Abomination Fleshwarp (broken off of base)
1x Animate Dream (arm broken off, peg still in body)
1x Deep Gnome Warrior (arm broken off, peg still in body)
1x Drow Rogue (warped and folded nearly parallel to base)

Hey Jeff

I don't know what is going on over there at the Paizo warehouse but every single one of the cases I have purchased through you has had massive amounts of broken mini's. I have purchased around ten cases now through you. I record and post these unboxings on my Youtube channel so there is proof of this.

As Father Dragon mentioned, I have had a dozen broken miniature from this brand new series Darklands Rising.

I have ordered another twenty cases of Icons of the Realms and Pathfinder Battles from Miniature Market and of all of those cases I have only had four or five broken minis so something has got to be going on with the logistics over at your warehouse.

At the indicated URL, I did not see Darklands Rising as a valid selection for part(s) to be replaced. Also, I see that this process requires a receipt through some sort of selection tool. Does Wizkids have a copy of the receipt for a purchase of a Darklands Rising cases from Paizo? If not, I am not sure how that replacement system is going to work for us.

It takes a few weeks for WizKids to get their minis replacement tool up and running so check back with them periodically.

There's no additional handling that occurs in our warehouse so it must all be on the UPS or USPS side of the process. The cases arrive floor stacked in a container and we hand unload and palletize them for storage. Once subs are ready, we print the packing labels, affix them to the cases, and ship them out.

I'm not sure where the damages could be occurring in our warehouse so it's likely occurring in transit. After all, we are opening dozens and dozens of cases for singles with every release and our breakage percentage is very very low. I know that we have subscribers to this line that receive cases with no to minimal breakage and folks like you seem to have higher levels of breakage, so about the only thing that makes sense is that our local UPS or USPS hubs are more rough with the packages than those near Miniature Market (MM).

At the end of the day, all we want is for our customers to have a good experience and enjoy the products we, and our partners, release. If that means that it's better for you to purchase your cases from MM, please do so.

Just as a datapoint - I've had about half a dozen broken minis out of over 20 cases I've received from Paizo (and a similar amount from Miniature Market).

I haven't received this specific case yet and given it does look like things are 'different' in various ways with this case, I'll be interested to see how my experience continues.

And that's after those cases shipped all the way to Australia.
