So this morning I found myself thinking about the Guns and Gears book description and I thought 'What if we recreated the Planet Express crew from Futurama in PF2E?'

Clearly Bender would be whatever they have for the Construct Ancestry with the Rogue Class and Professor Farnsworth would be a Human Inventor. I have own thought on the rest of the crew, but I'm curious what other people would do.

Let me know below.

Wouldn't it make more sense to do this in Starfinder?

Regardless, you can bite my shiny metal ass!

Also, if you're going to do this Scruffy needs to be involved.

And can we make Fry a ranger just so he can have Seymour?

I already built them in Starfinder, this was a random what if scenario.

Leela's probably a monk, given her propensity for unarmed and unarmored combat.

Amy I'd peg as an inventor/dandy though she probably has an as-yet-nonexistent inventor path for a vehicle innovation. She's the only member of the crew we routinely see with cars and hoverboards, though the Planet Express ship is arguably the Professor's primary innovation. Them being the same type of inventor tracks with her position as his intern.

Hermes is likely a bard of some sort (maybe bureaucracy is his enigma muse?)

Nibbler is obviously a sharptooth goblin barbarian.

Fry is an investigator who decided not to put any points in Intelligence (you might argue bard, but he's usually not the one who's singing and the only time he was any good with the holophoner was when he was using Robot Devil's hands to play it). He's usually the one who clues the others into what's going on, even if he himself hasn't sorted it out yet, plus he worked as a police officer and was the one to figure out Pickles' nefarious plot.

Given certain revelations about Scruffy's relationship with Mop Bucket and his skill with managing toilets and boilers (and that one boiling toilet), I suspect he's also an inventor and Mop Bucket is his construct companion.

I think I love you.

But also, Nibbler is an incredibly intelligent member of an race as old as the universe that happens to be cute, and pretends to be of animal intelligence so he can watch what happens (primarily around Fry).

Nibbler is a special NPC monster that just happens to tag along with the party.

Or maybe you're just underestimating what goblins are truly capable of when they're allowed to reach their full lifespans and not murdered by adventurers before they reach 10 years old ;)

(I did actually mean to put the "obviously" in the Nibbler line in italics to emphasize that it was more of a humorous suggestion than a hard-held opinion, though.)

That's fair, I assumed humorous intent anyways, but kind of also wanted to point out that Nibbler is actually kind of a complex character with two contradictory faces.

He appears initially as a dumb animal that eats everything and low key attacks the Planet Express crew.

But is secretly am agent who monitors Fry (I think he was supposed to save the universe form Giant Brains but I can't remember if that was the only reason) and then erases Planet Express crew memories. But then later he has to reveal his identity again, and fails to erase their memories but everyone just pretends until Nibbler later realizes what's happened.

Leela: 100% in agreement

Amy: oooh! I see it!
Hermes: Versatile Performance: Limbo!
Nibbler: Haha. Yep.

Fry: *Mindblown* Yes. Note: He also played well with the worms improvements in Parasites Lost. But they probably gave him +10 to all his checks.

Scruffy: Yep.
