Channel The Gift for 3 rounds

Rules Questions

Good day all,
I have been playing an Invoker Witch which allows me to use Invoke Patron (Su) as a swift action.
I have always generally used this as a Hex/SR buff, but one option on there had me thinking.
Rapture: The invoker can increase the duration of any spell she casts on herself by 1 round. This applies only to spells with a duration other than instantaneous. This increases to 2 rounds at 8th level and 3 rounds at 16th level.
Then I find the spell "Channel the Gift"
You channel your magical power to fuel the target’s spellcasting.

If you target yourself with this spell, you may spontaneously cast any prepared spell of 3rd level or lower without expending its spell slot on your next turn (this aspect of the spell has no effect if you are a spontaneous caster). The spell that’s cast after channel the gift cannot have a casting time longer than 1 full round.

So reading this, can I swift action to "rapture", cast "channel the gift" on myself. this then lasts for 3 rounds (as I am 10th level).
So..... 3 free lightning bolts in the next 3 rounds? or 2?? or none??

Only 1. The duration boost of the spell does not increase the effect of the spell which is "On your next turn". An extended Channel the Gift would do nothing as well.

The Exchange

Thought experiment: without the Rapture ability, could you cast channel the gift, then cast a regular 3rd level spell and a quickened (via rod) 3rd level spell on the next turn without expending a spell slot for either?

Even if Rapture does boost the duration to three rounds (I'd probably allow that) it wouldn't change the fact that channel the gift specifically only affects one spell.

Thanks for the replies.
Ok looks like a non starter then. Maybe there are some other better 1 round spells out there to use it on?
I understand it can be used for 1rnd/level spells to, but was looking for something more unusual to use it with.

The Exchange

I’m trying to think of any 1 round duration spells that you can cast on yourself. (Well, that you would want to cast on yourself.). Some of the “litany” spells and some of the psychic defensive spells (mental barrier, etc.) come to mind. However none of them are on the witch spell list. You’d also have to wait a turn to use the litany spells since they are swift actions. The psychic spells I’m thinking of are immediate actions so you can just cast them as soon as your turn ends.

I’m sure there are 1-round spells on the witch spell list, they just aren’t occurring to me right now.

The best one is obviously Time Stop (Deception, Spring, Time, Trickery patron).

Others:
Cheetah's Sprint
Sure Casting (maybe)
Wave Shield
Raven's Flight
Reveal Mirage
Glimpse of Truth
Threefold Form

non-Witch:
Dimensional Blade
Litany of Defense
Litany of Sight
Litany of Warding
Mental Barrier
Thought Shield
Songbird (maybe)
Transport via Plants

Tho' some of Theaitetos' examples aren't that useful since they require a swift action to cast, which isn't going to work well with an ability which requires a swift action to use. A swift action casting time is often the tradeoff for a 1 round duration, it just happens to work against you here.

Edit: better than I thought at first since invoke patron is just a swift action to start and lasts minutes. OK, the swift action spells are going to be useful in some cases. Probably not raven's flight, and maybe not cheetah's sprint but still.

True strike is another example of a spell which you can extend but probably don't want to - TS applies to only your next attack, whatever the spell duration.

Yes, Time stop would be a big win as I am using Trickery Domain.. few levels away from that though.
Just a big shame that there aren't more Witch spells that can take advantage of it.
Thanks for the help/suggestions
