Charts here

I made some charts showing how guns and gunslingers perform.

You can make your own comparisons with the linked tool too.

Only one question. What range is this comparison? Is firts range, second range? That make diference for longbow e for fire arms.

No range penalties. You can make a comparison with different range penalties and post it here for everyone to see if you'd like :)

Where is the chart with Paired Shots? Assuming that a familiar will help you reload sounds nuts, but I'm hoping they'll update the class to make it feasible to reload both weapons some other way. Personally, I'd like to see them make guns with two barrels standard and then give all gunslingers the inherent ability to reload both barrels with a single reload action.

That's the bottom chat, paired shots is the one that starts at level 8. You can look at the names, they describe the routines

So what's the DPR increase of Risky Reload anyways? Really not sure how to model that one.

Chance to hit * 1/2 * damage of attack. If you used it as the first attack of every round it would add about .75 * .5 * (expected damage of -5 attack), but missing you mess up that routines order during the next round.

Yeah, that's why it's annoying to model. Still, intuitively it should be a respectable DPR bump even with that, I'm just not sure how much.

In practice... it worked fairly well for me in playtesting at 3 last night. But RNG and anecdotes and all.

I think it maybe increases your dpr by about 10%
