Was checking out the new AA4 racial grafts and the Lithic graft is better than the quorlu's actual racial trait (For PCs)
Quorlus only gain resistance to poison and disease, whereas the graft grants them immunity to such!
I hope this means the Quorlu's racial traits will be brought up to date :D

It's a graft right? So... unless it's a new thing in AA4, PCs can't obtain it ever in the first place, why would quorlus need to be updated?
Species Grafts are a new thing in AA4 - they're augmentations that provide racial traits. They specify a cost, level, and augmentation slot, but the PC can choose whether they're cyber, necro, bio, or magitech.

If this is intentional and not a mistake it's because racial traits are balanced as a packaged whole, so someone may have thought lithic was too weak without also getting the rest of the Quorlu package. Specifically, they may have though the inability to benefit from medicinals was too harsh a penalty without also getting the stone burrowing and extra arm, so they bumped up the augmentation (too much, imo).
Or it's just a mistake and they'll errata this augmentation.

Incidentally, this is pretty nuts. I can easily spare a hand or arm slot at low levels and usually high, as well.
UPGRADE SLOT GRAFT

PRICE 2,700 LEVEL 5
Androids can gain the benefits of certain armor upgrades by simply installing them into their bodies. This augmentation usually consists of a metallic recess in or attached to a chosen system (an arm, foot, hand, leg, or at the base of the spinal column). Regardless of whether you are wearing physical armor, you can install any one armor upgrade into this slot that could be installed into light armor. Regardless of the system, you can have only one upgrade slot graft installed.

Aye I can see how they would want to balance it. A PC who is immune to poison and disease from the get-go could be seen as OP.
An augment that gives better than the original race's buff to a PC seemed a little bonkers to me and as you said, they will probably bring the augment in line with that original balance.
I can always hope they let Quorlu PC's Lithic trait state they get full immunity at level 8 ^_^ Just have to see I guess.

I guess one other thing is that the lithic graft takes up both heart and lungs, which are two big systems for health/survivability. There are other very good heart/lungs systems (black heart necrograft, those disease reroll lungs that benefit the whole party, cyber liver that can also grant poison immunity) that only take up one of those systems.

Don't forget "nanites enhancements" as an augmentation type. Apparently it's an established type enough they spelled it out but not necrografts?
