What class to play if I dislike Pathfinder rules?

Back to the OP's original point, it's totally okay not to enjoy Pathfinder 1e. It's not for everyone.

Personally? I love it. But not everyone does and that's okay. There's lot of little fiddly bits and that can either be a big selling point or headache depending on the person.

You might want to see if your group wants to try PF2e sometime. It's a very good game, has a lot of (but not all) of the PF1e flavor but is a lot simpler, intuitive, and streamlined compared to 1e.

I don't think it's a "better" system, but it might be more fun for you and your group.

If 3rd party PF stuff is tentatively allowed by your GM and fellow players, maybe that might be an avenue for you to pursue, ZorValachan?

After all, the different game-mechanics or even differing presentation of the 3pp work might "speak" to you in ways that the standard PF1e game-mechanics might not? ;)
