Opportune Parry and Riposte + Stick-Fighting Counter

Rules Questions

I need some clarrification as to whether this works the way I think it does

Stick-Fighting Counter

D20 wrote:
While you are fighting defensively, as a free action you can select an opponent you have attacked on that turn and prepare yourself to counter one of its attacks. Once per round, when that opponent attempts a melee attack against you and the attack misses, the attacker provokes an attack of opportunity from you, provided that it is within your threatened area. You must use a club, quarterstaff, dan bong, sap, or tonfa to perform the attack of opportunity.

Opportune Parry and Riposte

Opportune Parry and Riposte (Ex): At 1st level, when an opponent makes a melee attack against the magus, she can spend 1 panache point and expend a use of an attack of opportunity to attempt to parry that attack. The magus makes an attack roll as if she were making an attack of opportunity; for each size category the attacking creature is larger than the magus, the magus takes a –2 penalty on this roll. If her result is greater than the attacking creature’s result, the creature’s attack automatically misses. The magus must declare the use of this ability after the creature’s attack is announced, but before its attack roll is made. Upon performing a successful parry and if she has at least 1 panache point, the magus can as an immediate action make an attack against the creature whose attack she parried, provided that creature is within her reach.

Questions

1) If I parry successfully do I trigger the AoO from Stick-Fighting Counter?

If yes,

2) If I parry successfully and spend the appropriate panache points (and have combat reflexes), can I attack back twice? (one from riposte, one from S-FC)

Sovereign Court

Just to clarify for you.

Parry costs one panache.
Riposte costs no panache, you just need a point left in your pool.

So, every time you attempt this, even if it fails, you spend panache.

It looks like it works.

Remember, you can only use counter once a round a riposte uses an immediate action.

Also, fighting defensively would apply to your parry, so you have a reduced chance of pulling it off.

And you can’t recover panache (arcane pool points) so it’s not going to be used more than a few times a day.

This all makes it a pretty balanced option.

Yes. All SFC asks for is for is that the selected enemy "attempts a melee attack against you and the attack misses". Why the attack misses is irrelevant. OP&R says "the creature’s attack automatically misses", so that qualifies for SFC.

Yes. You can only make one AoO per trigger, but the riposte from OP&R isn't an AoO, so that's not an issue. Of course, you need to be able to make more than one AoO per round (e.g. Combat Reflexes), as attempting to parry spends an AoO.
