Information Diverse obedience with other boons

Rules Questions

Goodmorning, I wanted to ask for information. The feats Diverse obedience, regarding treated as 2 more hit dice, it works as well on feats like: celestial obedience, demonic obedience, fiendish obedience and other boons?

Your intense faith in your deity allows you to gain boons not granted to most followers.

Prerequisites: Deific ObedienceISG, Knowledge (religion) 5 ranks, alignment must match that of your worshiped deity.

Benefit: You are treated as though you had 2 more Hit Dice than you actually do for the purposes of determining what divine boons you gain as a result of performing your deity’s obedience. Diverse Obedience doesn’t allow access to divine boons granted through prestige classes early, as those boons are tied to prestige class levels gained, not overall Hit Dice. If you take levels in a prestige class or archetype that offers accelerated access to a boon, this benefit may be superfluous.

Additionally, whenever you would gain a boon as a result of your Deific Obedience feat (and not through a prestige class), you can choose among the options available for evangelist, exalted, or sentinel boons. Once you make the selection, it is permanent, but you can choose from a different category each time you gain a new boon as you increase your Hit Dice.

This feat specifically works with your diety's Deific Obedience only.

are there any feats to consider extra waist dice for these feats?

I can't even guess what "extra waist dice" is supposed to translate to.

You can ask your GM to make an exception. Personally, I would allow you to use it on any of the other Obedience (Celestial, Fey, Fiendish, Monitor) feats in a home game. But as written it does require the Deific Obedience feat that appears in Inner Sea Gods.

Diverse Obedience was released in 2016 and Fiendish Obedience was release in 2017... so OF COURSE Diverse Obedience doesn't mention working with a feat not released yet. It would be totally illogical for them not to work together.

I have to agree with Belafon. This is an ask your GM situation.

As to the release date of the feat, they could have put in a clause on the other Obedience feats that they work like deific obedience. They have done that for other feats when they want the new feat to be able to use other feats modifying the original feat.

I think it was intentional that they have not expanded diverse obedience. The devs seemed to want to limit early access to PrCs only (or maybe some archetypes). To gain access to evangelist or sentinel fiendish boons they have the damned disciple and damned soldier feats, neither of which reduces HD requirements.

The PrCs typically have higher entry requirements than the deific obedience ones, as the books are considered more powerful.

For example:

Fiendish obedience and deific obedience PrC:
FIENDISH DIVINITY BOONS The boons granted by fiendish divinities assume that characters gain them in one of two ways—via the Fiendish Obedience feat (see page 178) or via that feat plus one of the three prestige classes presented on pages 208–213. While the boons of each divinity are categorized into the same three categories of boons used in Pathfinder Campaign Setting: Inner Sea Gods, the boons granted by deities in that book are less powerful, as they are more likely to be boons gained by PCs, and thus it’s more appropriate for them to be gained at earlier levels. While the Hit Dice at which you gain boons via Fiendish Obedience or Deific Obedience (from Inner Sea Gods) are identical, the prestige classes in Inner Sea Gods (the evangelist, exalted, and sentinel) that allow accelerated boon achievement have lower entrance requirements than the prestige classes in this book. As a result, if you wish to use one of those three prestige classes for a character who wishes to gain the boons presented by one of the fiendish divinities in this book, increase the requirements for entry into evangelist, exalted, or sentinel so that a character must be 7th level before selecting the class, as summarized below. Evangelist: Base attack bonus +7, 7 ranks in a skill other than Knowledge (religion), or ability to cast 4th-level spells. Exalted: Diplomacy 7 ranks, Knowledge (religion) 7 ranks, ability to cast 4th-level divine spells. Sentinel: Base attack bonus +7.
