I just downloaded the "Starfinder Adventure Path #31" PDF and found it came in at 340 MB. For a PDF of this page length I would had of expected it to be under 50 MB.
Analysed the images inside and nothing there seemed too large. The maps have a reasonable resolution and don't seem to be causing the size increase. I did notice that each page had 2 background images that were very similar and large. Maybe it's to do with the format of the images inside the PDF itself?
Could you get someone to review the creation of the PDF. The Starfinder ones did seem to go up in size starting with the "The Threefold Conspiracy" adventure path and this latest one is over triple the size of those.

That does seem quite large. I've pinged our team regarding the Starfinder AP file sizes and will get back to you with any updates!
Another large file for the latest Starfinder AP. "Starfinder Adventure Path #33: Dominion’s End" comes in at 296 MB. I tried posting a while back concerning #32 on the website feedback forum, but no one seems to be monitoring that forum.
The problems seem to have started with #25. Previous to that AP, sizes were between 14 MB to 26 MB.

It would be great if someone could take a look at #25 to #33 and see what is happening with the PDF process.
I have heard no update to the Starfinder AP size issue.
The latest, #34, is 78MB, so smaller then the last few...
BUT, all the text content is now an image, and thus not selectable as text.
Maybe the person that does the Starfinder AP PDFs needs to have a chat with whoever does the Pathfinder ones.
Or even whoever does the SFS PDFs. The largest Organized Play PDF at the end of October was a PFS scenario this time.

There has been an update to #31, #32, #33 and #34. Now all are of a smaller size, but all the images are multi-part images. So, before being able to use an image you need to combine all its split images together.
Will this be fixed?
