Okay, very stupid title, but basically, as a GM, I've sometimes entered the wrong number here or there, either before or after the -. Either I've accidentally given credit to someone's -2 instead of their -1, or entered the wrong PFS number entirely (say, 1234569 instead of 1234567), and I spot it only after I've pressed "save." Or, say, ticked the wrong boxes in the mission notes. When I go to Sessions, and edit the table to correct my mistakes, it'll still display the wrong name and presumably credit the wrong person. I've checked this with one of my characters, and their sheet didn't update with the right info.
I've gotten used to, if I make a sloppy mistake, delete that session and re-enter everything completely, to make sure everything gets entered correctly. But now I noticed something different: for some reason, it'll still register those tables to my GM score, and ACP. I now have one or two more GM tables under my belt than I have actually run.
I'll try to not abuse this fact and artificially inflate my ACP or GM count, but this might happen again. And with ACP being a thing now, I think it's important I give my players the right credits. But if I make a mistake, either the wrong person gets credited, or I correct it and I basically get double credit. What do?
Maybe this should've fit better under the Website Feedback subforum, but that seems more for actual issues with accounts, which this didn't really feel like.

1. "Continuing to credit you tables you deleted" should have an asterisk.
At least for PFS1, it doesn't actually credit you in the places that matter. It will display an extra star before you officially get one, but it counts correctly on the back end.
I had this exact problem when I reported games through OSP, they couldn't find it, I reported through my own event, and then they found it and double-reported, and then I deleted my self-reports.
I saw a star after GMing only 8 games, but nobody else could see the star.
The secondary problem is now that I unambiguously have more than 10 (I have 14 now), my star doesn't show.
When I go to the GM/Coordinator page, though, it counts correctly. So it's counting correctly, just not displaying correctly.
2. Self-reporting has always been honor system. There's nothing to stop you from lying and saying you ran a home game with Alice, Bob, and Charlie.
In that context, I don't see any bug that makes the situation any worse than it already is.
I'm assuming that's why the higher star things are gated by having a VO watch you GM or running a game at a convention, so that nobody can self-report themselves into the special 5-star-only VIP parties or whatever.
3. If you're self-reporting, don't you cross-check the autofilled name and faction when you put in the PFS number?
I've committed -2 mistakes that way: I've discovered players giving me the wrong PFS number 3 times (-3 mistakes) and I've only generated one of my own when someone slotted a different faction boon but something different autofilled.
I can't think of many mistakes that should be made if you self-report, because you'll instantly know if you put in the wrong PFS number.

Last time this occurred, I just happened to overlook the faction prestige box (new to PF2, so not used to seeing it). Or, for instance, I apply credit to my wrong number (-4 instead of -5, for example) and catch it too late. And sometimes players haven't filled in their characters yet (I have some players who are notorious for this), or even worse, can't remember their character number.
