So I am really interested in playing a Herbalist but I just want to make sure I understand what i get for the dedication.
I get the Basic alchemy benefits( alchemical crafting feat, Advanced alchemy to make items without time or funds) but they only apply to items with the healing trait, which at the moment are just the elixer's of life, and then also the anti-plague and antidote.
I can then only get a number of batches equal to my character level, or half if I'm in the wild.
My nature becomes expert, I can use it to craft herbal items and I don't need the alchemical crafting feat ( which I seem to get?)
So I guess my question is.
1) Do I still get the alchemical crafting feat?(as the basic alchemy benefits suggest) Would I need to be trained in crafting to get it still, or do I ignore that prerequisite?
2) If I do get the alchemical crafting feat it seems I am limited to just the healing ones and the antidote, anti-plague? but that's only enough for I think 3 formulas? Are there other formulas I am missing?
If someone can help me out it is greatly appreciated

It's actually the other way around for the batches. You get your level in infused reagents if you prepare in the wilderness and half your level if you don't prepare in the wilderness.

You don't need to be trained in Crafting because the Alchemical Crafting feat is granted by the Herbalist Dedication. You don't need Crafting anyway because you can use Nature instead, and trained in Nature was already the prerequisite for Herbalist. You aren't prevented from using Crafting if you want to.
2) If I do get the alchemical crafting feat it seems I am limited to just the healing ones and the antidote, anti-plague? but that's only enough for I think 3 formulas? Are there other formulas I am missing?

Yes, you are limited to Antidote, Antiplague, and Alchemical Items with the Healing trait,
That means you can make:
-Antidote (CRB)
-Antiplague (CRB)
-Elixir of Life (CRB)
-Focus Cathartic (APG)
-Sinew-shock Serum (APG)
-Skinstitch Salve (APG)
I whipped up some tables to help you visualize the progression. You can compare it to my similar tables for Alchemist Multiclass and Alchemist.
