Fighter dedication into Combat Grab seems fairly straight forward. It lasts until the end of your next turn, so that is enough time to do ambient damage and do regular grappling.

Use Divine Access feat for the Path of the Heavens pantheon to get access to Gravity Well, cast it to suck people into your area when all else fails. Also gives access to Longstrider to chasing people down and Flaming Sphere for the obvious sustain and set on fire option for persistent fire damage that is parsimonious with your spell slots.
That gimmick aside, Ragathiel's Divine Access is strong, get True Strike to make your Combat Grab strike more likely to connect, Haste for chasing people down, and Fire Shield to trigger persistent fire damage on people who hit you.

Would Fire Shield trigger if you grab someone?
Does that count as touching?

I think "touch you" means they have to initiate the touching, that's generally a balance/intent decision I see people reaching a consensus on for these things. I'd say the escape attempt, when/if it comes, definitely counts as them touching you whether successful or not. And as a practical matter it's hard to argue that the grab isn't going to burn them, but the balance implications bother me. Ask your GM.

Well, the concealment everyone has makes grappling not the best, unless you ignore revelation spells.
You can grab with minor curse just fine.
And then hopefully you can hold on while you release the next ones.Any way to make grabs harder to escape from, or easier to sustain?
And is there a way to get an opportunity attack with a fire spell?
Tangles Forest stance.... won't have a good DC and is too high level.
