Kintargo's Danger Rating [Spoilers]

Kintargo starts with a Danger Rating of 20. Does this ever change or is it constant until the Silver Ravens are successful with establishing a new government? I know there's the Reduce Danger rebellion action, but it's doesn't seem that there is any mention of this changing in the books.

I don't recall it changing. Obviously after the end of Book 3, things get far more dangerous but I think they use a different mechanic for that. That said, you can modify it if you want, depending on player actions and the reactions of Thrune and the Dottari.

Thank you. I don't see it mentioned it changing either after the start of Book 1. However, it seems kinda silly when the players can use the Reduce Danger action to reduce the Rating by 5. Do this after 4 weeks of game time and Kintargo has a less Danger Rating than Magnimar. LOL

That's not how the Reduce Danger action works. It only reduces the danger rating for 5 FOR THE WEEK. Then it goes back up to 20. Once the Ravens are skilled enough, they can reduce the Danger Rating for 10 or 15 (or even 20 if they are lucky) for one week, but they have to do this each week and strive to have the same effect each time.
