2020 GenCon Discount Code Not Working

I tried to use the special 20% off GenCon code {gencon) from a recent blog post this morning and was informed it expired on 8/31/2006.

In a rare moment of early morning clarity, I added the current year to the code mentioned in my previous post and got the discount.

The faulty code was reported in the "Paizo’s Twitch Schedule for Gen Con Online!" blog post of 7/24/2020 (if that's something you can fix easily).

Consider my "Garn!" retracted. :)

I also tried the GenCon code - it seems to work but can not be combined with the gift certificate I got from GMing at ConCurrent. What's up with that? Can't apply a discount and a gift certificate on the same order?

Does gencon2020 stack with Paizo Advantage? I can successfully apply the code, but nothing happens to the prices.

If you are talking about certificates you "won" participating in organized play events at ConCurrent, those are not gift certificates. They are vouchers which function more like coupons. Subtle, but important difference which might explain why they are conflicting with the discount code. Its probably not supposed to work that way, but we'll have to wait for an official response.

Because of what they are, you should be able to use the vouchers with a discount code. I know they work with the Paizo Advantage so they should work with the convention discount code.

Drat. I saw the "Promotion stacks with other discounts" line and was hopeful.

Make sure you're using gencon2020 for the code. Some of the original text for the promotion was written before it was pointed out that "gencon" by itself had been previously used as a code and wouldn't work so there was some internal confusion as it was getting updated last minute.

I applied the gencon2020 code, then attempted to apply the codes I got from PaizoCon and from ConCurrent and neither of them worked. I get an error message "That code is not recognized or is not valid for this order".

gencon2020 stacked with my battles discount on miniatures. 100% confirmed

I tried the gencon2020 yesterday for a test run and I saw the prices cut. But today it is full price after the code, any ideas? 16 items maybe it is to big?? All PDF's

Any help so I can get this done and have the new stuff for my games today please :)

3 things 1- It is a one time code, I wouldn't apply it to an order until you are ready to check out. 2- if you checked out it won't allow itself to be applied again I believe. 3- if you did NOT CHECK OUT and it is not applying it I would leave your post here, updated with that information, and make a separate post saying that you typed it in but never checked out and now it isn't working.

I did not check out just deleted the items yesterday after seeing the discount :(
