Yeah... can you guys add knacks that allow you create armor upgrades and shields? I should be able to pop a forcepack, jump jets and a riot shield... right ^^; ?
Sure you can't create Shields, they're technically not a Technological Item, but where's it say you can't create Armor Upgrades? Armor Upgrades are not (usually) themselves weapons or armor, so as long as it's a Technological armor upgrade (as compared to the smattering of Magic or Hybrid ones) near's I can tell they would be a Minor form. Sure it takes 10 minutes to install it once you've materialized it rather than appearing pre-installed, but still.
Though... maybe a Knack to create already-installed Upgrades could work. And TBH I agree there should be a Knack to create Shields, insta-shield is a cool aesthetic.

After a quick reading, you can create 2 Weaponized Prostheses MK2... probably with a weapon attached to each. You can also create a Polyhand, with tools. You can also create Hoverskates. You can a Polyclub and/or a Polylash (for versatility). You can cheese a lot of stuff so far, but you cannot create armor upgardes for Light Armors, at least.
This also probably highlights a missing feature: a nanite bodysuit, or the ability to create your own armor using nanites. That might an alternate feature, substituing the Weapons and Augmentations as Major Forms for an AC bonus and upgrades.

If weapons can be formed with nanites grabbing ammunition to laod, why would the nanites not just flow to the section the armor upgrade goes and form there over making it then installing? The nanites flow so I would think unless hand held which is discussed that the nanites would form the equipment where it would fit.
