Question on Ranger's Gravity Weapon Focus Spell from APG

Rules Discussion

The APG apparently has a Ranger Focus spell which says this:

Gravity Weapon wrote:
On your first weapon Strike each round, you gain a Status bonus to damage equal to twice the number of your weapon damage dice.

So I read that as:

1. You only get the bonus to your first attack, and if it misses, you get nothing.

2. If you use Hunted Shot/Twin Takedown, the damage only applies to the first attack, not both.

Is there a different interpretation?

That's how I read it

I agree with your reading.

Since both of the feats in (2) are about making two strikes then combining them, and GW states the first strike, it would seem to work that way.
