Hi!
So, just to make sure that I'm not getting the lore wrong: According to the LOWD, Aroden only raised the Isle of Kortos from the sea. Was Erran just there before then? And they started to become known as the Startsone Isles because of the Starstone, even though poor Erran was already there?
I'm asking because according to the PathfinderWiki, Aroden raised both. I know, or at least I think, that the wiki isn't run by Paizo or anything, but that led me to wonder if that little snippet is a retcon or something? Or I dunno... I guess I wanted some confirmation just in case, hahaha...

I'd assume it's the same landmass, and the more general texts only mention Kortos because it's where the globally important stuff is, with Erran being a mere satellite of it.
It has its important aspects, but few compare favorably with the city at the center of the world.
It's also simply very unlikely that it just survived the starstone's impact from that close and managed to stay above water.

When it raised it up, the two may have been connected. In the intervening time, erosion may have separated them. Happens in the real world with new islands.
if yiu turn Erran clockwise about 70 degrees and move it southeast of its current position, it looks like it would almost fit, with erosion explaining why it didn't. Events in Extinction curse adventure path also may lend credence to this theory.
Just to note, there is also Pariol Island to the south of the Isle of Kortos. But that doesn't even have a CUP map

I've always assumed that Erran (and all the little bits of rock and tiny islets not shown on the map) are all part of the same landmass that Aroden raised from the Inner Sea. It makes no sense for the Isle of Erran to have existed there before then, since the whole thing was created by an impact event.
It's separated from the main isle by shallow water, but it's the same landmass. Had Aroden raised the isle a few dozen or maybe even a hundred feet more, Erran would be a peninsula, not an island.
