Whirlwind Stance & Flourish

Rules Discussion

Hi there,

I was looking at the staff acrobat archetype and found out that its stance has the flourish trait.

Since it's the only one stance with that trait, it is something meant to stop you from using a flourish action on the round you decide to go for the whirlwind stance or for any round you decide to remain in that stance?

Quote:

Whirlwind Stance

Single Action
Feat 10

Traits: Uncommon Archetype Flourish Stance

Archetype Staff Acrobat

Prerequisites Staff Acrobat Dedication, expert proficiency in your staff
Requirements You are wielding your staff, which must have the parry trait.

You use your staff as a defensive implement as well as an offensive one. You gain a +2 circumstance bonus to AC as long as you remain in this stance.

Quote:
Flourish actions are actions that require too much exertion to perform a large number in a row. You can use only 1 action with the flourish trait per turn.

You only use the action when you enter the stance, so that's the only turn the trait applies.
