On paper, Elion seems a perfect Thematic fit for Ruins of Azlant, but He is “unknown in Golarion,” and multi-classing into one once we discover His existence seems mechanically inoptimal, to say the least.
So assuming your cleric were starting the adventure as written, and assuming too that you wanted that cleric’s faith to tie as closely as possible to both the plot-as-written and the themes of this adventure path, which deity would you choose?

Popular gods in Andoran include Abadar, Cayden Cailean, Erastil, Iomedae, and Shelyn. Abadar and Erastil are appropriate because Ruins of Azlant assumes your character is doing a colonialism, and those gods are all about that. Shelyn is another good choice, for a cleric who might be into the strange beauty of Azlanti creations. Neither of the Ascended strikes me as terribly on-point, though you could play up the angle of the new generation taking up the torch of the old.

Kurgess is also mentioned as having a presence in Andoran, and striking out for a new colony in a barely known place is quite a dare! Also, as much as Kurgess is about physical strength and personal improvement through competition, he's also about family and community.
To me his interests sound like a good mix for starting a new colony in the wilderness.
