I'm starting a skull and shackles games with friends and I am going to play a wizard, I was wondering if having something (feat or trait) to help with concentration checks made on a ship in an agitated sea was worth it. I see 3 different options with varying levels of investment.
1. (Low investment) = Focused mind trait (+2 concentration)
1. (Medium investment) = Waterway caster feat (Auto success for vigorous and violent motion on ship and in water)
1. (High investment) = Uncanny concentration feat (Requires combat caster) (Auto success for vigorous and violent motion and weather and also +2 concentration)
What kind of investment is worth it? Is it worth it at all? Is there any other options?

I mean, it's a thing. It depends on if your GM is going to force it. I played through this campaign, but not as a caster so my memory is a bit rusty on those points, but from what I recall you don't do a lot of fighting from a ship at low levels, when the concentration checks are difficult.
At higher levels it comes up frequently, but you typically have enough bonuses to the check that it's not a problem.
If your GM is cool with it Waterway Caster feat now and retrain out of later is probably the best way.

Thanks for the answer! I talked with my DM and I think I'll take waterway caster now and retrain later, I'm a human so I can spare the feat at low lvl anyway. :)
