This appears to have happened because you have your preferred shipping method for subscriptions set to "USPS Priority" rather than "Cheapest". When you do this, it will determinedly use your preferred method regardless of cost. I have changed this option back to "cheapest" for you, so future generated orders will ship by their cheapest price. Also make sure to double check this whenever you are checking out through the cart!
For this time, I will refund the difference in shipping costs to your store credit to be used on your next subscription order (Evening out your costs overall). Thank you for letting us know when the shipping price didn't seem right. Hopefully the change in default will avoid this in the future!
