Thundering Rune Range

Interesting question. Our GM tries to follow the rules as written as much as possible. For instance, a Fire Rune on a weapon does not glow or flame and emit light, as this is not listed in the description of the rune. However, if it sets something on fire, then obviously, that thing emits light.

If you hit someone with a weapon that has a Thundering rune, from how far away could that rune be heard, if at all? It states that the weapon lets out a peal of thunder, so can it be heard for miles?

Thank you in advance for your assistance with this matter.

There's definitely a noise, but since it only deafens the person hit it can't be that loud.

As for how far...there is no guidance. Let's just say as far as someone can hear combat.
