Trying to Transfer my SwiftBlade /Fast Hero From My Groups 3.5/D20 Modern Mash Up to my groups PF(1e)/D20 Modern
Game Set in the same world picking up a few weeks in game where the last one ended
The Felgrands have a family tradition of Creating powerful items from the bodies of Strong Monsters.
Called the proof of rule System. It involves there main things one the body of a monster who is at least CR 10 , A Base item Such as A ring or a Dagger. And possibility the Most Important part of the Riddle. A true Sacrifice on the part of crafter. The more the Sacerfice Stings the more power the item. So saying getting rid of my ability to feel pain would result in a rather weak Proof. A good Example is the leader who up his ability to show love or empathy to his family who he loved so much (My Grandfather)
The previous Game Second to last Mission saw me Fighting A Very powerful Earth elemental (It had a couple of Templates ) and after a long fight and a few very lucky Rolls Both on the D20 and critting twice on an Orb of Force I bought it down.
Sadly when the fight Started the Elemental used A gravity well Attack ( I Guess like 20 D8) Bludgeoning Damage and it did Destroyed my Characters Fiance who had to insist on coming Along .
Well the mission ended with me at the Ritual Site (At and Under Ground Lake) My Monster the Earth Elemental (At least CR 18) My Item My Fiance's Crippled Body and My sacerfice ( Props to my Friend for this idea) I gave up what was so dear to me , My family name. My identity as a Felgrand , My right to lead the family , my connections , my Wealth all of it gone.
Out of it my Fiance became a Semi Immortal living Construct . Who can Turn in to a very large Single Blade Great Axe.
The plan was for it to have a few times per day earth related SlA. And it was like a +6 total Weapon Bonus including Abilities
A sadly the game ended the next mission before I got to use my proof of rule
