Downloading freaking maps

Advice

Grand Lodge

I'm trying to run a mixed real life and online game tonight, and I can't seem to save the map from the downloaded campaign, (second darkness, chap 3) to put up on Roll20. I have the download, and I go to it, and find the map and right click on it, and my stupid computer tries to download the whole stupid chapter.

Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong? Cause, gamers showing up, in 9 hours, and failure is looking like a real option.

HELP!!!!

I don't have this book, but I'd suggest either using a software such as Photoshop to extract the images, or taking screenshots of the map with Windows's screenshot tool.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Second the screenshot/snip option Almarane presented. I use it for my online group, and while it's not perfectly high-resolution, it works well enough for our purposes. (It's certainly more detail than I got drawing on my Chessex mat with wet-erase markers.)

You can also try looking for a PDF image extractor (there are several free ones available); it may do what you want, but I found it to be an over-fussy option when the Windows snipping tool exists.
