Can society characters enlist in other Golarion organizations? If so, is that a downtime process?
For instance, I have a rogue that would fit well with Firebrands AND there are some feats available only to Firebrands of certain rank. Is that something a player declares during downtime similar to crafting check? Or are those sort of options just not available to society characters?
Thanks in advance!

Its also been clarified that it covers any 'extra' requirements for the organization. You're not only a member of the organization, but you satisfy the 'second mark member' as well in the case of firebreans, or the 'passed the hellknight test' requirement for them, etc.

I don't see any restrictions to what orgs you can join, but obviously not all character options are legal.
Wanted to bump this. The Lost Omens Character Guide has a list of organizations that are named and have descriptions but do not have any character options/equipment/etc associated with them at this time.
With Secondary Initiation, on paper, I appear to be able to have a character who would be considered an Eagle Knight? There are no options associated with this (currently), but yeah.
The boon itself has no restrictions and has no mechanical interaction with the "full organization stat blocks" that the focused Orgs have.
Note: I do not believe this is working as intended, no I have not purchased the boon to go "hurr hurr" either but it came to mind.

Note that you are allowed to join that organization or train with them *in some capacity*
Taking secondary *INITIATION* would mean you had been accepted / considered for training to eventually become eagle knight. Not that you had succeeded at that training.
The text of the boon states:
"Your contacts have introduced you to an influential member of another organization, allowing you to join that group or train in some of their techniques. Select an organization other than the Pathfinder Society. For the purpose of fulfilling prerequisites and Access conditions, you are treated as being a member of that group in addition to your belonging to the Pathfinder Society."
Note, you gain access to any of their permitted options, not you gain any rights or statuses.

However it has been clarified that it **does** cover any RP/rank requirements -- ie Secondary Initiation satisfies the Hellknight Test, satisfies the 'Knight Rank' requirement for Kinght Vigiliant/Reclaimant, etc

Right. In character I could consider myself officially affiliated with but nothing else because we have no source material for Eagle Knights that might include RP items such as Rank/title etc.
We're on the same page.
